Digital Certificate Change
Digital Certificate Change: 12th December 2011

On 12th December 2011 the University introduced a new Digital Certificate for use during the 'eduroam' authentication process.
It is more than likely that your device will connect to 'eduroam' and prompt you to accept a digital certificate from radius.leeds.ac.uk.
IMPORTANT GUIDANCE
If it does not happen and you cannot get onto the network then you are STRONGLY advised to go and install all three digital certificates available with fingerprints and technical information here.
For example, for Windows 7, download each certificate (DER format) onto your laptop and double click each one in turn. This will cause the certificates to self install.
There is also an automated configuration tool available for Windows 7.
Once this is done, please follow these instructions (or those available for your particular OS)
We have successfully tested these devices.
For example,on a Mac you may see this:
You need to click Connect and you will be able to use the network without issue. The new certificate is signed by Terena SSL CA, then UTN-USERFirst-Hardware which is in turn signed AddTrust External CA Root.
More general information is available on the following page.
