Computer clusters

Webmail

Students can access their email via the University of Leeds "Webmail" interface at https://webmail.leeds.ac.uk or through the Portal.
A range of webmail tutorial documents is available.

Desktop Anywhere

Desktop Anywhere provides students and research postgraduates with secure remote access to University IT services from most computers which have Internet access.

 

Wireless network

Most areas of campus are covered by the wireless network.

 

ISS Connect

ISS Connect is the Residence network available within University accommodation.

Laptop loan logo

Free loan laptops for use in the Edward Boyle Library (EBL).  Contact ISS Help Desk staff for more details (level 10, EBL)

The IT Shop

Portal

The Student Portal gives you access to a wealth of information resources and services from around the University. Login once using your University username and password and you will have seamless access to: email; a personal calendar; your library account; information about your modules and lots more.

VLE

The Blackboard Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) contains resources, information and tools to support your modules. Just login with normal ISS username and password and click on the My Studies tab. Here you will see a list of the modules you are studying with links to the VLE.
