Ten Golden Rules
We are all responsible for IT Security
What's covered
- All of us need to protect our own data and computers and ensure we safeguard others' data and copyright.
- The University (ISS, Faculties and Services) will provide resources and processes to ensure that good IT security and compliance with these rules is possible for the majority of cases. However, if in doubt, ask for help at the ISS Help Desk.
Description
All members of the University are required to use computing resources responsibly, and within the framework of the law, in order to protect themselves, their colleagues and the University from adverse events.
Technology, systems and processes will all be used to help us, but in the end, much security is down to the individual and their actions or inactions.
