Interruption to staff email (Exchange)

Some staff email services will be interrupted between 7pm and 11pm on 18, 20, 21 and 22 June.
FTP access to home directories and shared areas
From Monday 22 February the standard FTP service will be replaced by a more secure one called FTPs.
Automatic power saving on PCs
A new project, agreed by the University's Sustainable IT Committee will allow automatic power saving on idle or unattended PCs.
Purchasing software
Staff and students can buy a range of software for home use from the University's online store (http://store.leeds.ac.uk).

Interruption to websites and some applications
Information for ISS Database Hosting Service and Web Hosting Service users. A number of websites and applications which rely on ISS hosted databases will be at risk or unavailable 6pm-10pm Mon 21 May.
