The residence network will be disrupted between 9:30am and 10am on Thursday 9 February.
FTP access to home directories and shared areas
From Monday 22 February the standard FTP service will be replaced by a more secure one called FTPs.
Automatic power saving on PCs
A new project, agreed by the University's Sustainable IT Committee will allow automatic power saving on idle or unattended PCs.
Purchasing software
Staff and students can buy a range of software for home use from the University's online store (http://store.leeds.ac.uk).

New BADS Software - SSH SecureShell 3.2.9
SSH SecureShell 3.2.9 is now available via the Basic Application Delivery Service. The Active Directory Group name is SSHSecureshell-3.2.9-ADV
