Email

Welcome to the ISS Email services which are provided for all staff, postgraduates and students.  There are several FAQs available which provide general information about email.  Below are details of the services available.

for Staff:

ISS provides a staff email service (based on an Exchange server) which is also available to research postgraduates.  The mailbox provided can be accessed in several ways including:

• from a PC using Microsoft Outlook
• from any platform using Outlook on the Remote and Mobile Access service
• over the web via Outlook Web Access
• from a Macintosh using Entourage
• over IMAP for users of many email clients
• from Windows Mobile, PDA and iPhone devices

Each mailbox has a default maximum mailbox size.  This can be increased if necessary according to the email quota policy.  An email archiving facility is also in place.
